An official investigation has been launched after two immigration service staff working with asylum-seekers were found to have links to the British National Party, The Independent has learnt.
They need to widen the net to those working at ports of entry and the home office.

The 2 "immigration service" staff are security guards who work for a private contractor, please do not lump them in with the professional staff who are highly security cleared and who do the frontline jobs for the Border Agency.

Just like the policeman who was caught with BNP membership, i assume he wasnt highly security cleared.

I'm sure the government would like to read our minds and know our innermost thoughts and prejudices but till they do that no amount of secuity checking is going to reveal someone's colour bias.

That said, if the UK immigration service staff represent a cross section of British society in general then they are mainly a fairly tolerant, non-dearly beloved bunch. I just wouldn't bet on there being zero dearly beloved staff working for the UKBA.
