Tier 1 visa and working as a cleaner?????????

Post by headley » Wed Jan 14, 2009 9:27 pm

Hi,

Can someone please tell me if it is possible to work as an office cleaner part-time if I have a valid tier 1 visa.

I got this cleaning job part-time and really need the extra money.

Will it be legal to work part-time cleaning if I have a Tier 1 visa. I really need the money and have rent and bills and food to pay for.

Please someone respond. I need help in deciding if it is ok to take low skilled worked wile having a highly skilled tier 1 visa.

Thanks,
headley

As a holder of Tier-1 (General) VISA you are free to take up whatever vocation you want full time/ part time/ contract etc.

Thanks alot push_hsmp.

I now feel better to accept the job offer. I go in tomorrow to start.

I was laid off so that is why I now have to look for part-time jobs. And with the credit crunch. Thinga are really hard. I have to grab opprtunities part-time or not when they arise.

Thanks again for replying,

headley
