yes you can but please note that you cant do a double counting. The funds should be sufficient not only for your dependents' requirement but for your requirement toorays wrote:Hi All,
I already have the Tier1 general visa and am working in UK. Now I want to apply for the dependants Visa for my family who are in India. My earnings are in two parts:
a) Salary in India which gets deposited in Indian Bank Account.
b) Allowance in UK, which gets deposited in my UK bank account.
Now for maintenance funds requirement, I am maintaining the adequate amount in my Indian Bank account. My query is whether this is OK or I need to show the maintenance fund in my UK bank account.
Note that both the accounts were shown when I applied for my Tier1 visa.
Any clarifications in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Hi push_hsmp,Well if you have been in UK for less than 12 months then it will be 2800 for yourself + 2x1600 for your dependents.
Sorry, what is the confusion here. Can you explain please? My previous answer is true if both applicants are outside UK.
When you apply alone you would need to show 2800
When you apply later for your wife you would need to show 2800+1600= 4400 funds available.
I have written confirmation about that from BHC.
I applied last week for my wife, got the dependant visa in 4 days
The question is,Sorry, what is the confusion here. Can you explain please?
