Well you pick up the phone.
Dial the number.
Talk to the person who answers the phone.
After that listen and talk alternatively.
At the end of the conversation put the phone down.

Hope that helps with the telephone bit.

As for the marriage. It will not be recognised in the UK so is a worthless exercise from the point of immigration.
