Applying for Dependent HSMP Visa - Advice needed

Post by pavam » Tue Jan 20, 2009 8:17 pm

Hi All

My husband got HSMP Visa in Feb'08 but didn't move to U.K then. Now I'm applying for visa as his dependent and if all goes well, we'll be moving to U.K in Feb'09.

1. Has anyone applied as dependent under HSMP recently?
2. How long does the procedure take?

I'm submitting following docs:
> VAF 2
> Fee - INR 15400/-
> 2 photos 45 mm x 35 mm
>My husband Visa + passport copy
> Marriage Proof - Marriage Certificate + Pix + Marriage invitation Cards
> 2 yrs ITR of my husband + 1 yrs form 16
> his 6 months bank statements
> Savings - INR 5 lacs = 7,305.01 GBP
> Accommodation Proof - invitation from my bro in London , His tenancy agreement + Council Tax + copy of his visa and passport

What do you guys say?

Is it sufficient or need something more?

Will appreciate any genuine inputs......

Thanks

Sorry to ask this but you have not mentioned if your husband came to UK and is still in the UK after Feb08?
