Does anybody know how many years we should live in Germany in order to apply for German nationality as an EU passport holder and resident card holder(family member of EU national)?

Remember that if you apply for German citizenship, you will loose your old citizenship(s)

Not if you're from an EU member state which permits Germans to keep their citizenship upon becoming a citizen of that country.

Although application of this rule may meet local resistance in some states.

Residence period is reduced for spouses of German citizens.
