Tier1 Waiting Time

Post by shammi » Fri Jan 30, 2009 6:49 pm

Hi I am new to this (infact any) forum and dont know whether its right to put this up here or not. I am planning to apply for Tier1 in a month but something has caught my eyes on homeoffice site. If you go to folowing link
http://bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingint ... tingtimes/ you will read a line
"During the week commencing 2 February 2009, we expect to be considering applications that were received on or before 3 January 2008."
Is it really so that there can be a lag of 1 year or is it that my understanding of above is wrong. I dont think its viable to deposit your pasport for such a longtime. Can anyone please correct my understanding here.

Cheers
Shammi
