HSMP (Tier 1) Extension - Bank Statements

Hello Everybody,

I am planning to apply for my HSMP (Tier 1) extension this week. I will not be able to get my bank statements for the current month by end of this week. My salaried account is linked to Barclays Bank. Is it OK, if I submit the printed statements taken from their kiosk.

I would get it signed on each paper. Does Home office accept this as a proof for previous earnings and maintenance funds?

Also Barclays mentions only last four digits of the account number on the above kind of statements, they say it is for security purpose. Has any body submitted these kind of statements before.

Not sure of this evidence. But if you take a statement with the following, and sealed and signed by the bank official then it should be OK.
i) Name of applicant
ii) Statement from Date/Month/2009 to Date/Mnth/2009
iii) Account number
iv) Bank's logo
v) Applicant's address (few banks issue the address along with the monthly bank statement), check with your bank if they provide.

The statement does contain
Name of the Applicant,
Statements Date
Bank Logo

It has only last 4 digits of the account number, but has the sort code mentioned on it.
It does not have address.

Does my full name, sort code and last 4 digits of account number and a stamp from bank are acceptable as proof ?

Has somebody submitted duplicate/online version of UK bank statements as proof of previous earnings..

I am not sure why you are giving a chance to Case worker to reject your case. Jus wait and get the original statement to send to be more safe. If this is not possible, then go to bank and ask them to give you duplicate statement on letter head, then stamp and sign it+ a letter confirming that you are having an account with the bank and your salry is credited into your account.
