Yes, you need 12months bank statements and if your Maintenance Funds period falls outside these 12month bank statements you need to have those attached aswell..

ex: if ur earining period = 1dec07-30Nov08 u have to add recent bank statements for maintenance funds proof ie bankstatements of Dec08,Jan09 (plus nov08which is submitted for earnings)...

Those 12 months should fall inthe 15 month period, i believe. Also the maintenance claim should be within the 12 month period.

Eg: 12 month period (Jan 2008 to Dec 2008)
maintenance period (Oct 2008, Nov 2008, Dec 2008)
