Tier 1 or Tier 4 visa?

Hi,
I got my Tier 1 visa(General) 4 months back which is valid for the next 3 yrs. I want to study fulltime in UK for 1 year. Can I study fulltime using my Tier1 visa and then start working(using the same visa) after finishing my postgraduation.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
