Tier1 Work experience & Previous earnings Query - IMP

Post by ashokccs » Wed Feb 04, 2009 8:20 am

Hi Friends, this is Ashok from Bangalore and ready to apply for Tier1.
Need your help in clarifying the below queries,

Work experience: Do we need to submit all the employer certificates?
Or, is the current employer offer letter sufficient? There is no mentioning of this in the Tier1Guidence.

Previous earnings: As I received my first months salary through a cheque I cannot prove it though the bank statements so I would be claiming my earnings for only 11 moths, which is more than enough for my points, will this be a problem?

Hi,

1). Generally, offer letter is not a proof of employment. If you want to submit the proof of employment, then submit the proof from your current emoployer.

2). No problem if 11 months salary is enough for scoring points. Go ahead with evidence for 11 months salary period only.

Hi Buddy, thanks a lot for your valuable information. Thanks once again.
Apart from this, for age proof section, I will only be submitting the Original passport with the application will this suffice??? Or should I be submitting the notarified copy of my passport or any other supporting document along the application?

Waiting for your reply,
Ashok.
