HI JUST A QUICK QUESTION. WHAT IS THE STATUS OF SOMEONES WIFE WHO ISOPREGANT AND WILL BE GIVING BIRTH AROUND SEPTEMBER. DOES THIS AFFECT THE STATUS OF THE WIFE WITH REGARDS TO HER SPOUSE VISA.....OR DOES IT AFFECT HER IN ANY OTHER WAY WITH REAGRDS TO HER VISA

In what way would you think that pregnancy would have any effect?
Don't quite understand what you're asking? Do you wan't to know if she's entitled to NHS treatment during the pregancy...or what?

thats what i would like to know stuff like that. i have heard people say that they will be entitled to stuff like nhs tretaments etc....

ali541, are you actually saying that your wife is here in the UK on a spouse visa, and has not even registered with a local GP practice? If not, why not?

Your wife is entitled to NHS treatment if she is here on a spouse visa.
And most importantly, as John has already asked you, hasn't she registered with a doctor? This is essential if she is pregnant, both for her health and that of the baby.

she is registered with a gp. what i am asking is that i have heard that if your wifes has a child does this mean that her getting ILR is better or worse. people have told me its better as they look more favourably onthis in the sense that it shows then you are settling down etc

Sorry...thought you were asking about NHS entitlement.

No difference to ILR either way. You still have to meet all the other requirements.
