current processing time - tier1 in-country applications

During the week commencing 9 February 2009, we expect to be considering applications that were received on or before 7 January 2008.

Its really slow, during this whole week they just processed applications received in just 3 days (from 3rd till 6th)???
Tier-1 General Ext Application:
Appl Sent: 10th Jan
Delivered at HO: 12th Jan
Fee Debited: 12th Jan
Ref Letter rcvd: 15th Jan
25Feb: Wating Further Consideration
27Feb: Under Consideration
02Mar: Send the documents by SD

i applied on 27th dec...today its exactly 6 weeks...rang homeoffice...they said ur documents and passport is dispatched yesterday afternoon....should be with u shortly!!

i asked them can u tell me whether its accpeted or rejected...he replied , we dont tell the outcome...only the status!!

is tht really the case??..coz i remember they used to tell the outcome of previous hsmp applications on phone!!

im really worried now :(

Don't worry. It's probably part of their standard operating procedure really.

Did you send application on 27th or it was received by homeoffice on 27th?

tht was an extention application!!...bcozof this darn snowy weather postal services are affected badly as well.....!!...Probably will get everything by Monday!!

Wonder how these HO dept guys check the creditibility and geninuness of our evidences and proofs when they keep on doing the same mistake as

Many IEB officers don't even know that we don't need to submit qualification and english requirement documents if we had already submitted in initial HSMP application and successfully gained the point. I had to teach them over phone!! Pitty HO!!!

No, I didn't! And, there is no point calling them to know status - they don't provide you ANY information about your application until 6 weeks have elapsed.

By God's grace, my Tier-1 applications (main+3 dependents) were approved. Received the stamped passports on 05-feb-2009.

In-Country - Work Permit ---> Tier 1 (Initial Switching)

Applications Sent by Royal Mail on : 22-Dec-2008
Received by UKBA/HomeOffice on : 23-Dec-2008
Payment Processed on : 23-Dec-2008 (through CreditCard)
Reference Number letter received: 27-Dec-2008

Checked status by calling (0870 606 7766) on 03-Feb-2009: Processing (Under verification)

VISA approved/stamped on : 02-Feb-2009
Passports received by Royal mail: 05-Feb-2009
