I'm still waiting, too.

I think they're probably considering applications approximately a month after they were sent. That means that the results should be out in 5-6 weeks of the date the application was send, assuming that it is straightforward, and that the offices remain open despite the inclement weather conditions.

As a continuation of the thread, I wish to inform that I got my Visa for Tier-I for 3 Years upto 2012.

Date of Application: 15/01/2009
Date of Getting passport back with stamping: 06/02/2009

I owe to this forum for this. Thanks a lot immigrationboard members. Keep it up.

I am sure it is impossible for in-country applicants to get visa so quickly unless (s)he applies for urgent treatment. I am hoping to get my visa stamped by next week.

Have noticed that, 'non-JR' extensions seem to be taking more time in processing than 'JR' ones (don't know why):

No its not necessary to inform your employer but HO can contact your employer to verify your earnings.

u had the wrong link mate, its only for people from PSW ==> Tier1.
For HSMP or WP == > Tier1 it is
