Pension and Taxsaver deductions for green card

Post by bawaugh » Mon Feb 09, 2009 9:06 pm

I have gotten my employer to make deductions for a pension fund, and made a salary sacrifice from my wages. With the effect from both of these deductions my annual taxable pay would be below the €30'000 limit for the green card.

What is the situation for pension deductions and taxsaver salary sacrifice? i.e. are they allowed or should I reduce pension contributions to ensure that I do not breach the €30'000 limit?
