HI all,

First of all, thanks to all of you. Your valuable suggestions are very helpful for turning an application into a VISA.My case was'nt really straight forward and also once before my TIER 1 application was rejected as well due to the absence of a supporting document. But thankfully this time, i was better prepared with the help i got from this site.

Tricky part...

Post by ireallywish09 » Tue Feb 10, 2009 5:45 am

HI,

I thought the following points were not straight forward..

1). For 2 months, the amount in salary slips, and the salary credited in bank statements did not match and differed by as much as Rs.30,000 each time. I mentioned this in cover letter but i had seen cases in past couple of months where the application was rejected due to absence of corroborative evidence for previous earnings.

2). TIER 1 application had been rejected once with the reason as proof submitted for maintenance fund being unappropriate and also a mention that 'Your application has also been considered for General Grounds of refusal'

Though the rest of teh part was straight forward, these 2 points might have formed the basis of rejection as i have seen for certain other applicants as well.

On what basis was your maintenance funds proof deemed inappropriate?
