Can I work for different employer after Tier 1 App submitted

Hi all,

I am a work permit holder currently entitled to work with my employer.

I want to know whether I am eligible to work for a new employer after I submit the Tier 1 application.

As far as I know, I can work with a different employer if:
- I currently hold a work visa
- The new employer has sent a Tier 2 application.

But I don't know if it appies to Tier 1 application.

I am afraid NO,

you can not work for different employer in the above 3cases..

1. with WP you can only work with the employer who got ur the permit
2. you can not work with the new employer untill the tier-2 is granted
3. currently on WP and While ur Tier1-G is in process again you can not work for differnt employer untill Tier1(G) is granted so u can work only for ur current WP employer..

I agree with tvn_ramesh on 1 and 3 but not on point 2. As you can work for the new employer if they have filed new Tier 2 application.
