can Insolvency payment shown as salary?

Post by inputsOnHSMP » Mon Feb 16, 2009 5:22 pm

hello Guys,
Can anybody please clarify if we can use insolvency payments as salary?
My company closed down and we got some amount throught the insolvency service.

Can I show that as a component for getting income points?
This does not include redundancy pay which is a benefit.

Thanks

If it is mentioned on your salary slip and you can prove the money transactation in your bank account... it should be considered.

Thank you very much for your inputs.
I do have the bank statements as well as payment advice from Insolvency Serivce. Besides, they have also deducted the NI at basic rate.

My company owed me x amount but could pay only 0.3x because of bankruptcy. Can i claim the points for the unpaid wages?
