Got Post dated EC from Islamabad

I applied for EC in Islamabad on 31st May, received today my, spouse and baby's passport with EC valid from 1st July.

I requested visa from 5th July but they issued from 1st July which i was amazed to see as usually BHC Islamabad does not issue post dated EC.

Docs attached:

3 Bank statements (approx GBP 13,000) - I provided e-statements which were accepted
Letter of Employer for me
Letter of Employer for spouse
Attested translated Marraige Certificate
Form-B of baby
Job correspondence email printouts
List of applied job for self & spouse from reed.co.uk
Accomodation Search Printouts
Hotel reservation confirmation email printout for 6 days

I am from Islamabad. Booked hotel using Active Hotels website.

rex plz tell me that for how long these 13000 GBp contained in your account.

and did you provide the the balance statement of ur account or the bank statement.

If bank statement then 3 monthly or six monthly.

It was there for an year and my statement was for one year.

Congratulation Rex;

I am also waiting for my decision, and I am confident that I would have a positive reply sooner or later. One thing is sure that I could not be so confident without the help and support from this forum. I found answer of each question on this forum but one thing is missing in this forum that a complete Pakistani Picture of each step and EC process. EC is a pure local experience of each successful member so the post from India or somewhere else could not help a Pakistani member.

Can you elaborate your EC Experience in more detail from FedEx for VF1 form collection to submission (fees, location) to interview process (question and answer). So it will help too much for every Pakistani member for EC process.

I hope you would spare some time for the benefit and value addition of this forum

Experience with Fedex was not very good.

I have to visit FEdex office Islamabad 6 times for the whole process as they won't tell at one time about the documents they need.

Fees can change without notice cause change in exchange rate.

You have to pay visa fees via draft.

BHC can have a holiday without notice and Fedex will not submit your application on that day. In my case it happended once becuase of some protest.

It sounds like a DROP BOX but its actually not.
