Tier 1 - Is Document attestation required?

Post by bluecanvas » Tue Feb 17, 2009 5:54 pm

hello everyone,
I just wanted to know, for Tier 1 application, which supporting documents (educational degrees, Tax certificates etc) are required to be attested either from notary public or from foreign office?

Thank you everyone.

You need to submit all of them in originals including passport.HO wont accept the photo copies.

None. Unless you have some special case for e.g. different Names (spellings) in various documentary proofs.

Thanks a lot vnkhub1 & dingdon for your prompt replies.

I have one more question. Please review following thread:

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... sc&start=0

'go2zeeshan2004' said,
"I come to know few peoples being refused visas these days, just for the reason that they (BHC) are not accepting two evidences from the same place (i.e. in (my)case of Previous Earning : Job letter and Payslips). In this way, to be on safe side, u must submit bank statement showing your salary debits for the last 12 months. "
Is this case still true? Can there be any reason for rejection of a case, if both proofs are submitted from same source?

Thanks again.

thanks gopikrishnatb for your reply.

In my case, i am going to submit salary slips and tax returns. Tax is paid by my company, but certificate is issued by tax collection office (called Central Board of Revenue). Certificate will contain the name of my company mentioned on it. salary slips, however, will be issued by my company.

Do you see any problem with these documents? Please comment.

Thanks again.

Hi bluecanvas,

Why to take risk...
Bank statements and salary slips are the best proofs to show. Anyway, getting bank statements is not difficult, right.
Better go for them.
