Mis-spelling in the application form

Post by ninjathehunter » Thu Feb 19, 2009 1:09 pm

Hi all,

I just found I mis-spelled a word in the application form (an 'o' where it should be 'e'). Although it does not lead to any misleadings, I am feeling panic.

Will I get refused because of this.

Depends what the word was! :)

If it was personal details such as your name or address then it may cause an issue but I would reccoemnd that you just call and let them know.

If it was someting mundane like in the spelling of a month or a well known and frequent word in the application forms then the case worker will most likely correct it on your behalf.

Don't worry too much I'm sure it will be fine :D

It is not an important word I think. It is in one of the explanation fields. The word is an adjective in a sentence.

Then I would really not worry about it at all!

They see these forms everyday and if you have been it thourugh enough to notice that you have made just 1 mistake I'm sure that the rest of your information is very accurate and will be perfectly fine.

Good luck! :D
