Dependant- Maintenance funds

Is it mandatory to keep the amount for maintenance funds i.e GBP 1600 in my account or i need a joint account or my wife's account is fine??/

Kindly answer my query as my wife is already maintaing in her account????

Just a quick question, is yr Wife's account a joint account? if not you might need to take a letter from her conforming she is happy to include her account for the maintenance funds.. If you search this forum there is a discussion similar to yours and experts have adviced the same..

No its not a joint account....She is maintaining her savings account.

Though the complete scenario is not clear,,,

It is ONLY OK, if you are aplying for T1G as a dependent of your wife...


But if you are the main applicant, it shd be a Joint account as mentioned below..
