Reference number

Hi,
Can anyone let me know how long does it normally take to get the reference number? Its been 1 week since they have received the application and 3 days since the money was debited from my account.
In case, I do not hear from them, what is the way to contact them? And what information do I need to provide to find my application reference number?

Dear Shantanu,

If you made payment by CC, thenm they would have definitely asigned a Reference No. to your application, and if it was by DD, You should wait for 3-4 more days, as sometimes it takes a week for them to get the application after the payment clearance by DD.

In any case, you can either email them on wpcustomers@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and/or
HSMP.Workpermits@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

They are now almost prompt in replying your emails within two workign days. IF you don't get reply, you can of course call them on +114 259 1894 (0044-114-259-1894 if in India).
