I had requested for a status update on my application and got the following reply from HSMP team.
Your case is currently undergoing verification checks.
As yet no decision has been made.
Has anyone of you also got a similar reply from HSMP? Also, does the verification check refers to calling up the references or general application appraisal process?

yeah same here. i also got the same reply back in february that my documents had been sent to my home countries high commision for verification. for the record i am an aug 2004 applicant and am from pakistan
