Maintenance Fund for Main Applicant, Dependents Later !!!

Hi there,

I have to apply for Tier 1 General from outside UK before end of March!!!
I have enough fund for 90 days only for me (main applicant) = £2800 . But in application form VAF9 Part 5a there is a question about (Is your partner accompaning you or joining you later??) i will answer yes as my wife and kids will join me later , maybe after 3 months.
Is the maintenance fund required in this case only the £2800. Or I must also proof additional £1600 for each dependant in this stage to be able to apply for them in the future??

Since your YES is for Joining you later.. so your £2800 funds are enough to support you for this application..... so no problem for NOW

You only need £2800 and you will require funds for your dependents when you apply for their visa not now. Be assured.

But there is conflict here. In the form "Appendix 1" part 7 Maintenance Requirements states
"""You must have £2,800 available funds for yourself plus £1,600 for each dependant accompanying you or intending to join you in the United Kingdom within 12 months of your arrival in the United Kingdom""".
Does it mean i must mention in application form VAF9 that My family are not accompanying me or joining me later ??? then £2,800 will be enough.
