Job search from India or UK

Hi,

i knw that the current recession has many problems of getting a job in UK.

i am a SAP ABAP/XI consultant..certified too....

is it a good way to search from india itself ..for a safer side...

or the best is to go to UK..and then start the search....

Please let me know some consultants or companies..who help us in getting a job in UK...
