ILR visa stamping date for postal applications?

Post by raghu_tallam » Mon Mar 02, 2009 8:55 pm

Hi All,
I have a question regarding the ILR stamping date on your passport.

When someone applies for an ILR through post and finally gets ILR after 90 days, what date is stamped on the passport visa?

Is it the date when the application was originally received by Home Office or Is it the date Home Office approved it (i.e 90 days delay)?

Thanks
Raghu

It is the date they put the sticker in your passport.

I'm with PaperPusher on this one. I think it's the date the application is actually approved and the vignette is placed in your passport.
