My friend has decided to appeal herself, instead of having a solicitor because she has not got that money to pay. (£500-2000)
However, the appeal process seems to be very complicated. Can she fill in the appeal form and chose not to be presented herself or a solicitor in court. I have no ideas how the appeal process like. Is it like what I thought - send off the appeal form and waited for the result?
Could anyone please take a look at her appeal - reason as below and give advice. Thank you very much
The Home Office’s refusal letter stated that I do not satisfy the requirements of the Immigration Rules for this category and it has been decided to refuse my application to remain as a Tier 1 (Post-study Work) Migrant under paragraph 245Z of the Immigration Rules as I do not meet the requirement at paragraph 245Z(e)
It also stated that I have submitted Lloyds TSB statements from 31 October 2008 until 16thJanurary 2009. Unfortunately, this does not cover a full three month period and they are therefore unable to grant the points claimed for maintenance.
I do however have the required £800 for 3 months, as I had mistakenly sent insufficient statements. Had I sent statements for the whole three months I would have been granted a visa.
Therefore I would be grateful if you could re-consider my case with the correct information which is attached and demonstrates that I have the required funds that cover 3 months. As per Guidance notes from the date I applied on 26th of Jan, 2009. The full 3 month statements I should have provided are from 26th October 2008 to the 26th January 2009.
