DrJabber.. i think you can take my msg with more +ve development on your's becos though we sent on 15th.. my reference is dated 23rd which is nearly 1week difference.. so you shd expect result much before than me..

What is the status of your application? Did you contact HO?

What is the status of your application? Did you contact HO?

No I didn't contact the home office because I knew that it would take me 4 hours just to get through to speak to somebody, and then for a one line answer "awaiting consideration," would have pushed me over the edge. I didn't want to be arrested for violent crimes against telephones!

Its a normal processing time said by applicant.

Finally the long wait worth it. Recieved the documents today with the approval

I applied 3 months earlier than my expiry date. Case worker granted visa from the expiry date onwards.

after a long frustrating wait ... they have dispatched my documents today ... i m just keeping my fingers crossed for the result ...

Having spent the entire day criticising the home office, I was delighted to get home and find that my documents have been sent back to me with my application approved and passport stamped accordingly. I am so relieved!

Thanks to all that have helped me and supported me through the process, especially push_hsmp and tvn_ramesh amongst many others!

My wife had applied for Tier 1 and we got it in 3 working days.
Used a cover letter as per following post and evrything fell in place.
