EEA3 form

Hi,
at the beginning of February i sent EEA3 form for permanent resident for EU citiziens. Do you know how long it usually takes ?thanks for any information

OH no! i did not realize that i could be so long. do you know if there is anyway to get back just the passport?. I am ok with my ID card but my son needs a passport to go for holiday in August.
