Payment Details - Debit Card Problem.

Hi Friends,

I am going to apply for HSMP tier 1 general tomorrow.

I have a question with regards to the payment details section in the application.

I am planning to pay by Debit Card. The help section in the application form tells me that the debit card must be either Delta or Meastro type of card. I hold a HSBC bank account which has given me a Meastro debit card. But when I look at my card, it doesnt have a 'Valid From' date. It just has the expiry date and the issue number.

The application form asks for
1. Valid From date
2. Expiry date
3. CVV Number

I am not sure if I can use my HSBC debit card (as it doesnt have the valid from date). Please advice.

I hold a citibank account which has given me a Visa Debit card. Can I use this one in case you feel my HSBC card might be a problem ? Please help.

It should not be any problem.. Fill in all the details you have..

i also had Mastero and did not fill the valid from details..

Go ahead and file your application...

Guys similiar problem here, i have debit card from HSBC but issued by Visa and not by Maestro, pl can anyone confirm if VISA debit card is accepted?
