NAME CHANGING

Post by cha_cha1 » Thu Mar 12, 2009 3:40 pm

Hi my wife arrived in the uk in august 2007. The passport that she travelled on has her fathers surname on it not mine. The id's that she has had for the past two years have my surname on them.

Two weeks ago she changed her surname legally through deed poll to my surname. Does she now have to get a new passport made with the name change or can we send the first passport off to get her idenfinate stamp put on it

Please advice as quick as possible.

thanks

she need to get new passport with her new surname as she have changed her name legally. Then apply for visa with new passport.

thats why every application has a question: if any previous name?
