I heard that usually ppl dont get senior/level points unless they claim points for past earnings too. Which makes sense, someone in a senior position would have a high salary...

Hi Hareen,
I got senior level/specialist experience points but I did not ask for past earning points. So it is clear that there is no relation between these two.

Hi Hareen & forhsmp,
In my opinion, the most important document is a reference letter from your senior because other docs are very common and most of the applicants use them.
Honestly,I did not include the organogram but I feel that in order to show your position in your organisation,it is very important.

Hi ME and Dhavaluk,

Thanks for the helpful info. I need more information about my points and other details please help me.

1. Education B.E. Computers - Is this can be considered as professional or bachelors.

2. I am having more than 10 years of experience (more than 5 years of Proj leader and manager) and none of my offer letters stating about graduate level work. (though the companies are taking the employees after their graduation. It states only that the employee should bind to perform the duties assigned by the management.
What kind of points can I get for this? If I cannot get the max 50, is there any way to get the max points by specifying various abroad customer visits and appreciations?

3. For past 1 year I am in UK with less than £41 K. But my previous salary in my home country, the incentives and shares can able to get the min points. Is this possible to get any points for this, as my past earnings for one year in UK less than £41 K?

4. I have received various customer appreciation letters and the company appreciation letters. I am also certified Quality auditor to do the audits within the organisation. Is there any chance to get points for this in achievement section?

5. Spouse is also holding the B.E. Is the degree certificate is enough to provide to get the 10 points for spouse achievements?

Couple consultants suggesting to pay for the review services. However I am sceptical about my points whether I can qualify for HSMP or not?

Any valuable information will be appreciated.

Dear Indian,

If your experience letter foprm the current employes, where you are claiming to be workign at a senior level, has clearely mentioned your role, persons workign under you, size of your company, etc. i think the documents you have submitted will do.

Though, if u r associated with any day to day routine management, evidences showing that involvelment of yours will even help, eg. notices issued, correspondence showing your signature, decisions made by your, etc.

Dear indian..& dhaval,

i claimed 65 points(Under 28, junier level exp).

Is it reuire for me to submit any day to day corespndce. letter or notice which i had issued to my subordinate. However, recently i supplied documents in regards with my first job. This letter was issued from organisation as a part of authorization to conduct monthly meeting of all shift enng. who were working under me. i was working as aShift in Charge.

i also want to know from both of u i.e...

my Qualification is--->>>B.Sc(3 year full time)+PGD-PPT(one years full time-Plastics technology)+DBM(Distance Learning)+PGDMM(Distance Learning-in extention of DBM,Final certificate is awaited)

Work Experiance--->> Approx 2.5 years in production including 18 months in first company as a shift in charge, 8 months in second job as a Plant in charge and presently working as an officer- Marketing(Territory in Charge) as a techno commercial person.

waht do u think will it be sufficient as per their view. Will my production exp. & Marketing (Techno- Commercial)exp. will creat any hurdle to get my file approved.
Kinly note that i claimed 65 points and i didn't submited organograme(organizational chart..

Please state your view and let me hear from yourside cource of action, if any.

Thanks! Both of Graet Indian.

Dear Amit,

First of all yopu haven't shown where you ahve cliamed howmany points. Without that how can one tell you whether you'll get points for what u have cliameD? Giving total points that you ahve claimed can not help us (at elast me) in judgiung it).

Regarding you work experience, if you are showing on, 2.5 years of total experience regardless howlong of it was a senior level work, You can not get any point for senior level work experience, as it requires total 4 eyars work including 1 year at senior level.

Anotherthing is, if you ahven't send the organizational chart, you must send it, I also had realised the need for it, but got delayed in sending it, adn was rejected. SO to be on safer side, why don't u send it right away?

Dear Dhaval,
Thanks for early reply!!

i claimed 35 points for my work experiance,10 points for skilled partner,15 points for Education,5 points for age (under 28 years).

kindly note that i hv not claimed points for senior level exp.however, in my first two jobs approximately 25-30(minimum) ppl were working unger me and respectively i held designation like Shift in Charge & plant in charge. Now, in my recent job i am holding designation of officer marketing(territory in charge)which includes Techno - Commercial work related to my original line.
I hv change my area from Production to marketing-Servicing, but i hv not change my field.

i hv also decided to supply Organogramme for my first two job and imporatant I.O.M for my existing job. to highlight the importance of my post.it will be despatched very soon.

Will it be sufficient???

i am sending additioanal doc. third time will it create bad immpression???

pls revert immidiately.

Hi Vapi,

Thats gr8, its nice not to claim points where there is even a slight possibility of getting rejected. You are very well on safer side. I appreciate your decision of sending the organisational charts. Its not at all going to have any adverse impact with repeated documents. U can keep on sending them untill u get decision.

Wish you all the best dear!

Dear Amit,

NEither me nor anyone else here, nor even the HO staff can tell you when your file will be processed. Yes, you can expect it to be approved (we must hope so) within a months time, as thats the rough processing time for majority of the applicants. I don't knwo when you have applied, otherwise i would suggest you to call them or send them an email asking your status. One of my freinds, got her decsion declared in the e-mail reply.

Regarding the better opportunies in India (MUmbai and my own city Ahmedabad) you must grab those opportunities now. And once you get HSMP, u can leave them behind. Even if u have signed any bond or so, you'll have at least 6 months to leave the job and move to UK after your approval.

Here in this thread, it seems that this has become a dialogue between just me and you, so better we shift it to our personal email IDs (dhavaluk@hotmail.com) or yahoo messenger (gujjugujju) so that noone else should get chance to comment upon us, especially the moderators.

You can mail me and take my cell my number as it would be a local call from Vapi on my cell and we can discuss all these issues personally.

Got Approval. Thank u all. Now pls help me for EC

Post by hareenpatel » Mon Aug 08, 2005 11:58 am

Hi all,

With the help & advice of all members i got approval.

I applied on 7th July 2005.
Application received on 11th
Rec. Ref. no on 13th
Approval on 26th
Documents received on 8th Aug.

I am really surprised with the results. I was not expecting that i can get 50 points for Senior Level.

Thank You all.

Now i have few doubts for EC.

As i do not have savings in my bank account. But i had given all my earnings to my father each month. Now how can i show funds?

Can my father pay for my UK visit?
If he deposits sufficient amount to my Bank Account, will it satisfy ECO? as they require 6months bank statement & balance for long time.

But if i deposit amount in this week & apply for EC next week, will it satisfy ECO.

Help me again, I am very worried.

Thanks Again
Hiren
