Applied through Agent.....

TIMELINES..
Application Type: WP to Tier 1 + 1 Dependent
Date Applied/Docs sent: 23-JAN-2009
Date Docs reached HO: 24-JAN-2009
Reference Letter Dated: 26-JAN-2009
Date Payment Deducted: 26-JAN-2009 (Debit Card)
Status: Pending from HO as per Agent

I received Reference Letter two times...one dated 26-JAN-09 and another dated 30-JAN-09. Have any of you got two reference letters??

Application Received: 26 Jan
Fee debt: 26 Jan
Ref Received: 28 Jan
Visa expiring: 13.03.09
Status: Waiting for furthur consideration as of 11.03.09
Waiting for consideration as of 13.03.09

Cannot understand guys.......

Congratulations to all who had their visa approved and Wish you all the best for the ones who are still waiting.

Its time to post my timelines

Application Type - WP->Tier1
Posted on - 20JAN09
Received by HO - 21JAN09
Fees deducted - 21JAN09
Acknowledgement Received - 23JAN09
8-12 MAR09- Waiting for further consideration
12th evening - Package dispatched
13th - Received docs with approval , visa stamped - valid till Mar2012.

Actually they didn't send any other additional documents. I received the same letter saying received your payment, etc... Its the same letter with different date on it..

Does the status change from Awaiting Further Consideration to Awaiting Consideration?

This is what my status has been:

05-March: Awaiting Consideration
10-March: Awaiting Further Consideration
13-March: Awaiting Consideration (again???)

Date of Application: 20-Jan
Ack Received: 22-Jan

i wish you guys hear the good news soon... @Supernova.. its good that ur appliation came out of further consideration to awaiting consideration becos out of my experience.. further is added whenever they need to do verification or it someway delays the application process.. again out of experience n understanding the process shd be Awaiting consideration 3-4days, under consideration 3days means it will be out with results very soon..

so i wish you all that your applications are approved quickly.. Goodluck

An update on my timelines.. Going by Generic123's case, i guess HO are lagging behind their published time lines..

According to my appl experince i believe following is the sequence of status

Waiting For Further Consideration/Waiting For Consideration(Waiting further/ Waiting to be processed , still in the Q)
Under Consideration(Appl is assigned to case worker)

Surprisingly my status was Waiting For Further Consideration for 4 days and immediately with in half a day they dispatched the documents.

Supernova , I presume you will have it ready by tomorrow/mid of next week. Wish you good luck and hope to hear good news ..

Nothing... I called today morning and I was told that its awaiting consideration..... and I am not sure that whats going on. When I called 2 days back, I was told that 'waiting for furthur consideration'.....cannot understand these terms......

I expect now that it would take few more days....

'Tis a simple matter, my friend. Ring HO bright and early on Monday morning and ask them if they have received your documents. You should have received it by now.

Latest timings are

"During the week commencing 16 March 2009, we expect to be considering applications that were received on or before 5 February 2009. "

Our both application are received by Home office on 5th.Lets hope it will clear by next week.

Sashi... I am not discouraging you but just trying to give some clear idea based on our experience... by saying they will look into applications received before 5th Feb means they will start looking into your application may be complete next week... so you can hope to get the responses the week after for sure...

i just wanted to save u from unnecessary tension you will go through the whole next week... but you never know if you are lucky you can hear anytime...
