ILR after 4 Years on Work Permit

ILR after 4 Years on Work Permit

Hello Everyone,

I have been living in UK on Work Permit since March 2005. When I got the work permit the rule was that 4 years of continuous stay on WP will earn me ILR but obviously this is now changed to 5 years. My question is that which rule would apply to me? Is it the former or latter? Can I apply for ILR now or do I have to wait till March next year?

its march 2010 for u if current rules remain. there is a likelihood u might even have 2 wait longer.
