how much money do i need to show in my account

Hi all
I am student at a london university my visa is expiring on 30th April but my course(MSc) will finish in July when i get my final results. I need to apply for extension in April, how much money should show in my account. I have already paid in full my course fees. I am planning to apply for six month visa, Kindly give information if someone knows. on uk ba web site it says it is stated like this

"Nine months or less In London -
Course fees and £800 to cover living costs for each calendar month of the course up to a maximum of two months "

according to above do i need to show £1600, Please help
