IT Contracting for WP

Post by John2009s » Thu Mar 12, 2009 10:31 pm

Hi,

I've found a new job and I'm currently in work permit.
I'm looking for a company to sponsor my work permit
as a legal contract and be in agreement with company
ready to offer the job.
If any one knows such companies, please pm me...as I feel
moderators may delete that as spams...

Why can't you have a permit with the place that offered you the job?

The employer with the permit has to be responsible for the work for a WP and under Tier 2 PBS as far as I can see.

I think you should avoid the course you are trying to take.

Thank you for your reply...

The company didn't want to get into the hassle of
applying Employer sponsor licence and hence I'm searching
for other options, if I dont get one...I may need to loose that
job...

What you're describing sounds like bodyshopping and not allowed. Better try to get onto Tier 1 if you can.
