Just saw this......it is great....just one question.....

EUN2.2 Where can an EEA family permit be issued?

EEA family permits may be obtained from any visa issuing post. It is not necessary for an applicant to be lawfully or normally resident in the country to apply.

Does this mean that I could apply for a EEA family permit for my husband???

We have been married since 2006....I'm an Irish citizen resident in Italy with a RC and working since 2002.....we have been trying to get my husbands RC here since 2006....he entered Italy a couple of years before we married...without a valid visa...at the moment we are awaiting the outcome of the appeal!!

If we are to apply tomorrow for a FP....would we be issued with one???

If you read all of my other posts you will see that Italy is not complying with the Directive!!! And they have refused to give my husband his RC.....it is so long a story and been going on so long I don't think I have the patience to write it out all again!!

We are currently bringing a case against Italy.....throught the EU Commission as well as waiting for our appeal!

This is such good news....I'm not saying that we will apply tomorrow.....as I work in Italy and will not be able to leave asap!! But just getting ideas as my work contract finishes quite soon!
