WP to Tier1 visa

Hi All,

I currently have WP which expires in sep 2009. I was thinking of applying for Tier1 in June 2009, but heard about changes in visa rules from april.

Does anyone know if these new rules would affect my application. Does the new rule also affect WP extension?

I think the new rules call for a master's degree and a minimum of 20,000 pounds salary.

The new rule has changes for Tier 1, not seen or heard about any changes for WP
