Indian Income while in UK

Indian Income while in UK

I have a query with income in different country .

I am here in UK since last three years and also earning in India .

I am paying tax in India .

So, can I show it as my previous earning ? I filed IT return, have all bank statements and invoices for the company I worked for.

I have never been to India this time but I was doing online work .

Please Advice me .so is there any problem .Means you need to be in that country to show income from that country .

You can show both your UK and INR earnings to claim points. I know people did it and successfully received Tier 1

There is no ambiguity here. You can show both earnings but can not apply the multipication factor of 5.3 since you were physically in UK during your eanring. So, you £ equivalent earning = Inidan salary converted to GBP + UK salary in GBP.

Whether you can show evidence of UK salary is another factor because I know most of the people do not have proper evidence of UK salary because they get something called the allowance with no payslips etc.

I am getting salary in uk .I am doing freelance consulting (Contractor) category as per their definition .

I could not find any where ,which says I can not use 5.3 factor for Income

even though I am in UK for last 12 months .

Just let you know this is my first application for tier 1.

I am on FTS and now to switch for tier 1
