Maintenance Funds-Regular Saver account-Urgent Help please

Post by aaammmiii » Sun Mar 15, 2009 12:39 pm

I need to know if anybody provided supporting evidence for Maintenance funds as the balance in Regular Saver account (in my case Halifax (UK) ).

I can not withdraw money from this account until the anniversary date but can close the account any time and that way withdraw the money. I have got a letter that mentions this.

Guys do you think this is sufficient information for claiming 10 points for Maintenance funds?

Thanks

You can use this account, if money can be made available to you at any given moment of time in future if required. By closing your account to withdraw money is one way of it. The same is the case of ISA accounts as well.

I feel this should be fine.

Thanks a lot for clarifying it, very much appreciate your response.

I would still like to know for someone if it has actually worked and has got the VISA so friends please let me know.

your account is fine

only shares, bonds, pension funds etc, regardless of notice period are not acceptable.
