As the visa is normally for 3 years, does your visa date start from march 5th 2009?

I have applied on 5th of Jan for HSMP to Tier1 Ext, Fee debited on 10th of Jan, called twice with same reply as "Under consideration" & no news
until date. Is it a matter of worry? What else can be done in this kind of
exceptionally delay?
HI Mahmood... It is very highly disappointing how the UKBA works or updates the applicatants even after charging those high fees n promising to give world class services which is no where near it...T_mahmood wrote:Hi tvn_Remesh
I cannot understand whats these terms means.....its very strange in simple terms that first ' its under consideration' (means some is considering it) and then' awaiting for consideration' ( means case is not in consideration or in a Que) and then again 'under consideration'(some one is looking into it) ....what a cycle of processing or play on the words. I cannot understand wher are UKBA ' processing standard. I am sure that if they want to check or verify from all employer/agencies, they can do it within an hour and the whole case can be processed in a day. I can see on trackitt.com that some UK cases are in months processing. I am not sure that after paying such a huge processing fee, there is so much delay......

But thanks to this forum that all ppl share each n every improvement or development they keep on sharing raising hopes n keeping them alive,,
so, what i understood during my battling period of wait for my result is that
1. Once we receive the Ref letter they mention that it will be sent to a caseworker..
2. But i think it only goes into the que which is AWAITING CONSIDERATION and it will stay in this que for 4-5weeks... that means that our application is still in Que to be given to a case worker to start looking into it...
3. So around 6th week in most cases it wil be about to be taken by the caseworker so during this period we keep on listening Awaiting consideration...
4. if our case is clear n straight forward it straight away goes to Under Consideration after 3-4days wait
5, But if there is something the HO needs to check it will be sent back to Awaiting FURTHER Consideration
6. Same when it goes to UNDER CONSIDERATION.. we shd hear our result in 4days if again our case is clear n straight forward
7. but again if there is something to be verified or checked or waiting for report..
8. It goes to Under Further consideration...
This i think is the process which is really frustrating when our case is staright forward but needs to wait for long long time
hope it is helpful...
we can wait that;s all and NO News is better than bad news...
Wish you all the goodluck and hear wonderful GOOD NEWS soon

Ramesh,
Those are out of country applications.I have checked the first page only.
Urgent treatments works according to the discretion of HO. From what I've read on the forums, when HO decides to act on UT request, it takes a very short while - like a week, in some instances a couple of days to process. But it's up to them to decide whether to process it urgently or not.hsmptier1 wrote:Hi, Ramesh & other experts
I just called up HO and it says "Waiting for consideration", I am having
same status since last 15 days. I also noticed from this forum that
sending UTF also won't speed up any processing.
Any idea what people should be doing in this case waiting for more than
10 weeks now?
Applied 5th Jan, Fee debited 8th (In country)
Thanks
