submitting tomorrow: pls chk cover letter.. thanks

Post by rnvv » Thu Mar 19, 2009 9:40 am

Few questions before I submit:

1) I have written just one cover letter, pls let me know if it reads alright and is easy to understand. Suggestions are welcome.

2) is my letter too long? Any advice on whether separate cover letters for each section would be a better way to go about.

3) the text boxes when using a computer to fill the forms have a very small limit? would u know how to change the font size? or would it be best to fill in my hand?

Many many thanks guys!

I have claimed 100 points in the attributes section and 10 points each for English requirement and maintenance funds on a self evaluation basis using the ‘Self Assessment Tool’ available on the Agency website at http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk. I have enclosed the printout to verify the amount of points claimed.

Following is the list of documents provided along with my application.

Documents provided:
• Original Passport stating date of birth.

2. Qualification – 30 points claimed.

I hold a Bachelors degree in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) (2004-2006). Both my university and Bachelors degree are recognised by the ‘Self Assessment Tool’.

Address: London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London WC2A 2AE, United Kingdom

Additional relevant information & supporting documents:

The duration of my study at the LSE was only 2 years (2004-2006) despite the degree programme length being 3 years long as I gained admission directly into the second year in 2004 on successful completion of two years of the BSc. Economics programme through the University of London External Programme. More details are available at http://www.londonexternal.ac.uk. To support this claim, I attach my initial conditional offer from the LSE, my result sheets of the two years of external study (2002-2004) as well as my eventual unconditional offer from the LSE.

3. Previous Earnings – 45 points claimed.
