Visa Status as on 13 March: Awaiting consideration
Visa Status as on 16 March: Awaiting further consideration
Visa Status as on 17 March: Awaiting consideration

I am surprised to know that my application progress is reverse....

Hello HSMPTier1..

I completely agree with flygirl's view... I think there shd be a system in place to those peopel who apply with Geniune Urgent Treatment..

HO Shd update/acknowledge those applications with UT's sent.. and after that they shd let the applicant know they can/cannot treat/treating the case as UT.. if not based on it the applicant can withdraw or let it leave..

But with no channel to contact n no updates.... its really frustrating waiting.. waiting and waiting..

Look at the case of JAGBERG, i felt soo sorry when i first read his msg this morning!! for him it is like marriage/future

With the increasing VISA Fee's its time UKBA-HO shd raise their quality of services.. but as mentioned everything is at the discretion of HO..

Sorry guys we are of not much help in situations like this...

I called today at 10:10am and was told that my case is
'waiting for consideratin'. I told that lady over the phone that last week my case was 'under consideration' how come that now it is waiting for consideration. She said I cannot answer this, I can tell you what is on my screen. I am thinking not to call them anymore as there is just wastage of time ......

Hi,

I sent my application couple of days ago and I got the same message in the Royal Mail tracking system

"Your item with reference XXXXXXXX has reached its PO Box and is awaiting collection/delivery"

so is it normal or something wrong here?

T_Mahmood.. I remember one of the applicant (HSMP28122006) mentioning that there the UKBA might have 2 offices with different servers and not both are updated simultaneously.. as per HSMP's experence when he called in difference of 30mins he got 2 different status...

When you get such confusing status.. just give a try again in next 10-15mins and see if you get different or same status..

But i can see that since last 2weeks the OUTCOME of the applications really dropped a lot and alot of applicants are just waiting n waiting...

hope this is fixed soon and the process will speedup soon..

Hi,

Alwayscool, this is quite normal ......it means your packet has reached there , just wait for the reference letter.
Normally they keep this status in the Royal Mail Tracking system.

Looks like this week has been really quite...

Disheartening to see applicants from Jan 09 still waiting....

Lets hope we hear some +ve news in the days to come.

Went to VFS bangalore. It was heavy crowded. Couldn't submit the application. Will try the first thing tomorrow.
Anybody got any experience. Any idea how to submit the document. There are no appointments until April when the rule changes.

Hi Giridhar.. you are in wrong thread buddy.. this is In-Country(UK Applications) thread.. ppl might not be able to advise you on your query as they might not have anyidea about it.. Please post it as separate thread for more attention and response..

As mentioned earlier, I received two reference letters with all same contents. One dated: 26-JAN-09 and other dated 30-JAN-09. I don't know whether this is delaying my application process or which date HO has taken into consideration. Anyhow, I can only wait...wait...wait...
