That's good development for you atleast moved to Under Consideration.. Just to confirm call them again today maybe two more today to check it is in UC..

If everything is straight forward they will decide ur application and shd send you tomorrow evening.. to reach u on monday or tuesday (this is just based on my status was on UC on Thursday/ friday/ monday but got my docs on tuesday n found that my visa was stamped on Friday.. this is just to give u some idea..

call 2more times today and call 2more times tomorrow afternoon 1130 and 1500 hrs...

if again everything is staright forward esply with UT u shd hear goodnews soon..

Based on my experience, I would suggest applying at least 2 to 2.5 months before their visa expires.

DOCS Received with VISA STAMPED on 20th Mar 2009.

My case is straightforward... I have applied for WP to Tier-1 switch.

My points are as follows:

education: 35 points(masters degree in technology from India)

Earnings: 45 points

UK exp: 5 points

my earnings are straight forward. I enclosed 12 months bank statement and 12 payslips. I haven't received any hike in the 12 month period and salary is same across all the payslips.

It seems the whole processing took in single day. i.e 16th March 2009.

VISA Stamped on 16th march 2009.

I really thankful to this wonderful forum. My special thanks to Ramesh,hsmp,drjabber,mahmood,flygirl,jameslu and many who contributed a lot to this forum.

one more thing...I haven't included special delivery..more over, I moved to different place as part of my new contract and put redirection for all my mails with royal mail. so, the applicaton reached one day late than usual...

Hi T_mahmood, i applied my application exactly on the same date as yours.. And same status as of 16:00 Friday "Under Consideration" and nothing being dispatched as per the Customer care.

yes, its very frustrating that our cases are still being processed. I am not sure that how much time they require. Its since Monday they are working on our cases and yet they are not done yet. My visa has expired on 13 March and soon my employer would ask me to produce the document with right to work. They would never listen that I can work if my case is HO. They would ask me to stop working and would re-employ me once I produce the document. That is the company policy, nothing to do with the immigration law of the country...........

New time lines from UKBA. My application received on 10-Feb-2009 so hoping for the best let see if it go through next week.

During the week commencing 23 March 2009, we expect to be considering applications that were received on or before 12 February 2009. Please note that this timescale is a guideline only, and some cases may take longer to consider.

I hope next week would bring good news. My case is not straight forward as

1. Two jobs, one weekly paid (52 payslips) and 2nd job monthly paid (9 payslips)

2. First job pays my expenses which are inlucded in Gross pay but I did not claim these.

so might be these things are making my processing delayed.....

Did you not submitt a letter from the employeer confirming your employment etc..?

they asked my HR to confirm my employment status and salary details. i did submit a letter from employer breaking down the gross and net salary along with the date of deposit. all in a nice table and few other employment details
