Are the funds immediately accessible?
If so - then it'll probably be accepted.
If not - then you'll probably need some other form of evidence.

As per guidane notes, it has to be a CASH Fund.
If your money is tied into a fixed period account or Bond, than it is unlikely to be considered for maintenance (funds).
In other words, if your funds are in a Current Bank Account or in a Instant Access Savings account you should be OK.
