hi frnds..

I came to UK for my masters in DTN..
but, am not able to finish it coz i failed in my project submission..

so, my university is awarding me PGDip instead of masters.

I want to know can I get 2 years work permit if I apply in august 2009.
I will hav £800 and my PGDip by aug-2009..

plz help guys..

You will have to re-submit your project. No PGdiploma is eligible for PSW or Tier 1 General after 31/3/09. Sorry no PSW for u in aug09 with PGdip.

HND IN HOSPITALITY MGT IS VALID FOR PSW ?? PLS HELP

HELLO ALL,

PLS HELP ME I WAS ON 5-YEARS WORKPERMIT AND I MADE REDUNDANT 2-DAYS AGO, AND NOW WANT TO APPLY FOR PSW AS I GOT CERTIFICATE FROM EDEXCEL HND IN HOSPITALITY BUSINESS MGT OCT-2008 PASSED. CAN I APPLY FOR PSW AS ON HO WEBSITE IT SAYS HND FROM SCOTTISH INSTITUTE I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS. IS IT SAME LIKE MY HND OR NO PLS HELP.

Hi But on PSW Guidelines(Valid Before 31st March) HO states that

"United Kingdom postgraduate certificate or
diploma
50.United Kingdom postgraduate certificates or
diplomas are acceptable for this requirement. It is
not necessary for the awarding body to be a United
Kingdom recognised body"

Now my question is I have studies from a top listed college and the PG cert in management is awarded by edexcel. Now In their guidelines it dosent state that it has to be listed body. Only the institution should be in listed body. Any comments???


PS. I have already submitted my application before 30th march.
