Hi,

Can anyone please help me understand the following -

"business or company accounts that meet statutory requirements and show the net profit made for the earnings period claimed"

does it need to be prepared by me or my accountant.

thanks for your help.

I guess that's the statutory account prepared for the purpose of filing with companies house and/or HMRC.

I don't know, if an accountant can prepare "statutory" accounts if your annual accounting year is not finished yet.

hi nnj10,

thanks for your reply. I have talked to my accountant about this and he said he will be able to prepare one for me for the last 12 months.

thanks again for your help.
