I was 100% +ve b4 reading this thread that my application will be back 6-7weeks Max

I know many students who applied for
Student To Post Study Work Visa
Or
Post Study Work To Tier 1
Or
Student To Tier 1 Visa
Facing bit difficulties

If i'm wrong please Rectify me ... may be some expert or some senior members can put some light WHY HO is tacking bit longer for such applications............ or OPEN NEW THREAD so more members can put their VIEWS

The main reason is that your previous earnings (if that are from your home country) take time to verify.

I am celebrating 100 day anniversary of my application today. I have lodged an official complain today. Though I know it will not have any affect in speeding up the application. I am very desperate now and I am sending them fax daily.

Regards,
Wahab

More Misery-

I spoke to HO late this afternoon to confirm the Tracking number I was given. They confirmed it, and I spoke to Royal mail afterwards. Royalmail confirmed that this dlivery isnt goe out with todays dispatches.

I just tracked the delivery number on royalmail's website, it says it has been DELIVERED from our COVENTRY Office. I live in Harrow, Middlesex.

What pathetic joke is goin on? I am sure no one experience anything like before?

A friend of mine applied last in 2007 Oct - Nov . at that time it was HSMP. He got his approval only in Oct 2008 when he gt his HSMP stamped. It did take a lot of time but I dont meant 2 hurt anyone. I can try and get more details from him in case if anyone needs it.

This has to be a good funny ride till I/HO/Royalmail locate where the hell my poor passport is?

Just spoke to Royalmail - They confirmed that it appears that RM have delievered the parcel to some place in coventry. As per my previous post, I mntioned that HO gave me a tracking # and apparently, "PASSPORT/PARCEL/Recorded Delivery" IS MISSING

I am sure more of the drama is yet to follow

Tried that already. apparently helpline dont hv access to such informaion.

It appears tht, either i hv a wrong tracking number (already been confirmed with HO 4 times, so indirectlt they hv it wrong in their system)

or

they have mixed up in terms of sending back docs

Just spoke to RM, they said there is no sreetname like mine in coventry, so we wont deliver something that dsnt exist in Coventry

On hold with HO again...

Luck :(

Good thing comes to those who wait, tht beta b true - lol
