when did your application status change in VFS website?

Hi Jerrin,

I checked on 24 and 25 march moring and found it changed on 25.Could have changed by 24 evening though.

This is the response I got from VFS enquiry.

With regard to your query, this is to inform you that the passport is still under verification with high commission

Can anyone tell what is the meaning of this ?

Hey even I am sailing in the same boat as aka189... I came from UK to apply Tier 1 ... still waiting .. My employer in UK wants me back ASAP.

Is it possible to put in a special request to BHC to expedite the process?

while applying you can lodge fast track application. but don't know whether you can request for it later. better you call VFS/BHC and find out the details.

Hi,
I have applied on 12th March from Mumbai but no reply yet.

How can I request fast track application? Never heard of it before.
I'm definitely gonna lose my job if I don't get the reply this week.

So many people got their tire-1 within a week or two and BHC is not replying to my email as well.

I came from UK and applied on 12th March from Mumbai but still no news. Have got only three weeks leave which is ending this week.

If I don't get the reply then I risk loosing my job.

I can't withdraw my application as well because I only got a bachelor's degree so won't be able to qualify under new rules.

Tough times for me.

Applied for Tier 1 dependant on 23rd March from VFS Mumbai. got my docs today thru courier. Visa Stamped.

Applied from bangalore on 5th march ,got EC stamped on 17 Th march alldoc and passport back

All most 3 weeks is over, still status showing forwarded to BHC. Do I need to contact VFS or BHC ?

BHC tries to complete 90% applications within 3 weeks of time. They need at least 3 weeks time. I am planning to contact VFS and BHC next week.

Hi Friends,

I have applied on 26th of March and the status says "Doc's are fwd'ed to BHC".

I have seen long pending times in few of the cases and this makes me worry... I have even visited my bank and there were no enquiries done yet.
